This version of the data has most everything a historian should need. It contains all information we know about each depositor’s residential, occupational, birthplace, and savings history. It also has every piece of information we found about them in censuses, ship manifests, city directories, newspapers, and death records. It does not contain information about trustees and beneficiaries for trust accounts (for these accounts, the “beneficiary” is listed in our “depositor” column. The abridged database does not contain the names of a depositor’s siblings or the whereabouts of a depositor’s children. What data we have on those subjects can be found in the unabridged version of the database.
