The Willimantic Chronticle Thurs. May 31, 1883: Eastford.

Editor Chronicle- We woud like to call the attention of all lovers of m=nicely arranged flowers gardens, to the home of J.K. O'Keefe Esq., of Eastford. It will well-pay for a drive of twenty miles to see what we saw last Sabbath morning. We halted in front of his yard hoping to see our esteemed friends Mr. and Mrs O'Keeffe [sic] but concluded we were too early. However the flowers were out in all their splendor and we heartily unite with many others in saying, the ground lay-out, variety of plants, colors and general arrangement, cannot be surpassed in Windham county. It is splendid beyond description.
