…The total loss on the building will probably reach $12,000.  The owner is Denis Smith, of No. 508 East Thirteeth street.  He is insured for the full amount.  Nearly all of the tenants lost all they had in the world except what they escaped with on their backs.  Their losses will aggregate $6,000.  The delay in sending out the alarm will be thoroughly investigated.
