Additional Information:

A rare family of 5 that emigrated all together on the ship "Sea" in 1846 from Rahood in Meath. They had interlocking accounts.  First family account was institutional account opened by Peter as treasurer for the Grannua Wool Association in 1851. Then on same day in September 1852, Mother Catherine and her son James opened one joint account while James and brother Peter opened another. Then in 1853 domestic servant sister Ann opened her account and was followed by domestic servant sister Jane who opened hers in 1857. In 1862 Jane and Ann each made the other co-owners of their accounts. Peter and James opened another joint account in June of 1856 but closed it in January of 1857.  The sisters' accounts were still open when the bank stopped using these ledgers in 1869, while the boys' accounts were all closed by May 1857. Peter moved from Ward 8 to Sibley County, Faxon Township, MN.

Peter was a farmer in Faxon Twp; his gravestone says "native of Rahood Co. Meath, IRELAND"
