Distressing Accident – A Blind Man Accidentally Killed 

Richard Cain died this morning of injuries which he received accidentally yesterday at No. 90 Thompson street. The deceased was a blind man and while going out of the above house yesterday afternoon he slipped and fell from the first floor to the subcellar. He was removed to the Fifth precinct station house in Leonard street and was subsequently removed in the ambulance to the Centre Street Hospital, where he died this morning. He resided in Fifty-second street. The Coroner will hold the inquest today.
